Battlefield Farms Inc., is dedicated to glorifying God, to bring honor to His name, and to reflect His character in our work and deeds. We strive to show this in our dealing with the people we come in contact, by helping the less fortunate in our community, and in our outreach to third world countries.
We celebrated 25 years of Battlefield Farms in 2015! Thanks to all of those who have supported us over the years. We are looking forward to the next 25! Check out the video of our celebration by clicking on the 25 Year Logo!
Pansies provide a beautiful display in the early spring garden. They bring a pop of color, whether planted en mass in containers, bedded out in the garden, or combined with tulips, daffodils and hyacinths. Pansies are strong little plants and can withstand the temperamental weather of March and can survive temperatures as low as the teens. Don’t be dismayed if they look a little sad after a cold spell, as soon as the sun hits them and warms them up, the perk right back!
The luck of the Irish! The Shamrock (Oxalis) is a popular potted plant used to decorate for and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The leaves of the Shamrock come in a range of shades and the delicate flowers bloom off and on throughout Spring. The clover shaped leaves are believed to bring you luck and fold up in the dark and open when the light returns. Another great in-door flower to brighten your home while waiting for Spring to arrive.
Our bulb crops come in a variety of sizes and colors and are shipped direct to us from Holland. The bulbs come out of our coolers to our greenhouse to the stores and have been shipping since December! These will carry us through to the middle of March when we start shipping pansies. They provide some of the most dramatic color with very little effort and are great planted in your landscape as well as container gardening – a great way to add a splash of color to your front porch!
